This project was started at a guild retreat which my daughter and I attended. Everyone made their own version. I created fantasy fabric for my side borders, stars and letters by trapping sequins, shiny thread, etc. under tulle with machine stitching added to stabilize. I used holigraphic thread in the fantasy fabric and to stitch around the stars and letters when I quilted the project. I enjoy using the quilt several times a year for holidays.
