Week of the Airedale

For the past 10 years I have worked with Airedale Rescue through an internet quilting bee. We make quilts to raise funds for Airedale Rescue. One large quilt is made each year along with one or more small ones.
Our group shares a love of the breed, their funny antics, the good times and the sad times.

One of those special dales crossed the rainbow bridge recently. Erin was a rescue who found her way to a home full of love. She was full of enthusiasm and died too young with cancer. Erin excelled in many things, this block depicts her as she competed in pole weaving. Her "human mom" drew the pattern and I was honored to make the block.
