The Queen

Squeegee is our shop cat. She showed up one day as a skinny, young kitten. Actually I think my employees were feeding her for a few days before I knew it. We decided to keep her and wouldn't you know animal control had taken her to a shelter. After tracking her down at one of the three facilities in our area we adopted her and brought her to the shop to live. She spends her days roaming around in the shop and the yard and sleeps inside at night. She has been "The Queen" for quite a while and now has Rufus to contend with. Rufus wants to play with her and she wants Rufus to leave her alone. Their playing at this point consists of Rufus bowing to her, standing stiff legged wagging his tale and barking at her. If he gets close to her she gives him face pats. So far she has not used her claws. She does torment him by laying on top of his crate. Rufus at times doesn't even know she is there. At 10 weeks, he is still a bit clueless as to exactly what she is. There is never a dull moment with these two around the work place.
