Fancy Fish

This project was started in a class I took with my daughter at her local quilt shop. The class featured Susan Carlson's soft edge applique techniques. A great way to use pieces and parts of your UGLY FABRIC. Did you know that cabbage fabric makes great fish lips! It's one of those classes where you just throw caution to the wind, cut up pieces and parts of your fabric, glue them in place, put your feed dogs down and stitch away. Of course you can never embellish enough. I have added beads, thread, etc.
