I have had airedales in my life for over 35 years. I love the breed and work with airedale rescue through an internet quilting group. This square was made for a quilt which depicted things that our dales loved to do. Maggie was a sweet girl who loved to drink out of the waterhose when she was very young and playful. She went to work with me each day and was a great friend. She gave me 10+ years of unconditional love.

I love animals and totally support the rescuing and rehoming of those in need. A wonderful quilt, for a wonderful group created by a really warm and caring heart.(((HUGS)))

I truly believe in the rescue of animals, I did that for years but it was mostly with smaller animals like guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, hamsters and such but we had a dog or 2 in there. Now we haven't had a dog or cat in about 10 years and I strongly believe it is affecting us health wise but what do you do when you never know if the next place you have to move to will accept animals or not? It hurts more to give them up right now!!
