Wine and Roses

This project is from a class I took attempting to get out of the box. I have just gone through a divorce and needed something to get my creative ideas flowing. I work with fabric and do not consider myself an artist, just want to be. This was made by painting coated canvas - actually kind of slopping the paint on, smashing the canvas together, etc. After the paint dried we cut the canvas in pieces and applied it to a black background to create a mosaic look.
