Recently a friend shared her technique for making Fabric Post Cards. Today I decided to give it a try. I painted Steam a Seam 2 for the background and fused it to interfacing. Using two oriental fabrics I fussy cut the images and decorated the front as well as the back of the card. I finished the edges with black cord enclosed in a zig zag stitch.
What a neat way to try different techniques and complete a project in a relatively short period of time. I can't wait to make more so I can mail them to all of my friends.

ReplyDeleteCool...Now just think...you can incorporate these elements into a quilt....
I love this PC. May I use your edging technique on some oriental PCs that I am making in the near future? And the decoration on the back is perfect. Great work! CJ
