There's nothing like a relaxing vacation to restore your energy and jumpstart your creativity. I recently attended a quilt show in Maine, met lots of new friends and laughed more than I ever thought possible. The classes were great and the quilt show was outstanding. The week flew by faster than I thought possible.
After returning from the show, I read an inspirational piece that reminded me there are 1,440 minutes each day. Of course it encouraged one to make wise use of the minutes as they are gone forever at the end of the day. As I reflected upon my trip to Maine, I realized there were no waisted minutes. I have drawn upon this fact since my return home and am trying to live my days enjoying every minute. I visualize a scale with one side tipped over, the side with positive minutes. Wouldn't we all be fortunate if there were no minutes on the other side of the scale.
