Ami Simms Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative

Small quilts made for the Ami Simms Art Quilt Initiative from drawings designed by my daughter. The patterns are more traditional than the project featured in the following post.

Hearts Entwined features reverse applique, traditional machine applique and is machine quilted with a variegated metallic thread. The second piece, Thoughts are Fleeting Like the Butterfly, features reverse applique, traditional applique and is quilted with variegated cotton thread. The wings of the butterfly are enhanced with metallic thread.
