This small project was made to donate to Ami Simms Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative. The quiltlets are auctioned off on Ami's website beginning the first of each month.
The Priority Alzheimer's Quilts are 9" x 12" or less so they will fit in a priority mailing envelope. So named because funds needed for Alzheimers are a priority.
I used acrylic paint, tulle, tensel, sequins, decorative threads and a sequin applique. The edges are bound with sheer ribbon.

ReplyDeleteIt sure is gorgeous! Thank you for supporting the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative! And thanks for spreading the word.
ReplyDeleteAmi :)
PS: The traveling exhibit quilts will be in a book, coming this June. You can pre-order at www.AlzQuilts.org. All profit goes to Alzheimer's research.
